Experience the World of Thermal Water
Bathe under hundred-year-old vaulted ceilings in giant wooden vats modelled after the barrels in the former brewery. Indulge in the sensations of thermal water with massage jets, bubble seats, a spa bath, a massage lane, whirlpools and a relaxation area with a shallow water zone. Other highlights include the emerald bath, a meditation pool with underwater music, a steam bath and a refreshing Kneipp wading pool.
The pinnacle is bathing in open air on the roof of the brew house while taking in the panoramic view over the city of Zurich and the mountains beyond.
In between, visit our bistro-lounge and take a break in the inviting atmosphere. Taste our fresh homemade creations, salads and sweets. Enjoy a glass of wine or Prosecco, or drink a refreshing Lassi or freshly-squeezed juice.

Roman-Irish spa ritual
The Roman-Irish spa ritual draws elements from a variety of ancient bathing cultures to create a unique and relaxing cleansing ritual. A touch of luxury, high-quality materials, unparalleled facilities and a limited number of guests combine to offer an exclusive bathing ritual in an intimate atmosphere. The secret of the Roman-Irish spa ritual lies in the changing sequence of rooms and themes, each devoted to a specific treatment. Through ten consecutive stations your body is gradually warmed, cleansed, relaxed and then cooled once again:
Wet zone: floral steam bath (40°C), body peel, hot herbal steam bath (45°C), hot bath (40°C), Roman bath with massage jets (35°C), whirlpool, bubble lounger, shallow water area, lounger and exercise bath (28°C).
Pampering area on request (extra charge): Peeling brush massage, milk herbal-pouch massage and various body wraps of your choice. All treatments are available for two in a private room.
Roman-Irish Circuit
Duration: 2 hours
PreparationPersonal items are not allowed on the spa circuit.
Note: No nudity allowed during the Roman-Irish spa ritual. Swimwear must be worn in all rooms except the peeling areas. You may begin the Roman-Irish circuit at any time.
Wet Zone
I – Floral Steam Bath (40°C)
As your body gradually gets used to the increased temperature and humidity, the pores in your skin open up, preparing it for the upcoming body peel.
Duration: 12 to 15 minutes
II – Cleansing and Peeling
Full body peel with sea buckthorn gel. Apply the fragrant exfoliating gel to your skin and massage your entire body vigorously from the bottom up, freeing your skin of dead cells and exposing new skin.
Duration: 5 to 8 minutes
III – Hot Herbal Steam Bath (45°C)
Hot herbal steam re-opens the pores of the skin and initiates intense sweating to purify and detoxify your body.
Duration: 8 to 12 minutes
IV – Hot Bath (40°C)
Your body temperature will continue to rise slightly in the hot water, further purifying and detoxifying your body.
Duration: 8 to 12 minutes
V – Lounger
Relaxation and rejuvenation. Relax and rejuvenate on a large lounger as you soak in the moist warmth and comfort of the Roman-Irish spa.
Duration: 10 to 15 minutes
Optional (extra charge): Peeling brush massage
VI – Roman bath (35°C)
The central bathing room. Lying or sitting in warm water at a body temperature of 35°C, you can recover from the preceding active cleansing rituals and enjoy water in a myriad of ways: massage jets, Jacuzzi, bubble lounger, foot massage and shallow water areas.
Duration: 15 to 20 minutes
VII – Exercise Bath (28°C)
Final wet zone purification ritual. Cool down gradually, while the pores of your skin close again. Swim a few leisurely lengths to stay in motion.
Duration: 5 to 10 minutes
Optional (extra charge): full body wrap with clay of your choice.
Dry off with the towel provided and enter the dry zone.
VIII – Loungers with Cushions
Relaxation and rejuvenation. Relax and warm yourself on the large lounger covered with pillows. Pick up your bathrobe and then enter the ‘ballroom’ for quiet rest and reading. For tea and conversation visit the spa lounge by the spa reception.

IX – Ballroom
Take your bathrobe out of your drawer and relax. Enjoy something to read in absolute tranquility, for tea, tasty treats and conversation, visit the Spa Lounge at the spa reception.

- Schwangere bis zum 3. und ab dem 7. Monat in Absprache mit dem Arzt

Information zum Aufenthalt während Schwangerschaft
Bäder mit warmem Thermalwasser wirken beruhigend und ausgleichend auf den ganzen Organismus und deshalb ist das Thermalbad & Spa Zürich auch während der Schwangerschaft ein entspannendes Erlebnis.
Da die Verträglichkeit von warmen Temperaturen während einer Schwangerschaft sehr individuell ist, bitten wir Sie, sich vorgängig auf jeden Fall bei Ihrem Arzt zu informieren, ob Ihrem Aufenthalt bei uns nichts im Wege steht.
Massagen in der Schwangerschaft:
Bis zur 12. Schwangerschaftswoche können wir aus Sicherheits- und Gesundheitsgründen KEINE Massagen und Ganzkörperpackungen anbieten.
Ab der 12. Schwangerschaftswoche verwöhnen wir Sie jedoch gerne mit einer 25 oder 50 minütigen Milch-Kräuterstempel-Massage je nach Befinden in Rücken- und Seitenlage.
Die Peeling-Bürsten-Massage ist während der Schwangerschaft leider nicht geeignet und können wir daher nicht anbieten.

Jeden Dienstag ist im Römisch-Irischen Spa-Bereich Frauentag. Das Thermalbad ist täglich gemischt.
Kinder ab 1 Jahr haben in Begleitung Erwachsener Zutritt ins Thermalbad.
Kinder unter 1 Jahr haben keinen Zutritt.
Der Zutritt zum Römisch-Irischen Spa-Ritual ist ab 16 Jahren möglich.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass es an stark frequentierten Tagen (Wintersaison, Schlechtwetter Wochenende, Feiertage) im Thermalbad und im Römisch-Irischen Spa zu Wartezeiten kommen kann. Gerne können Sie sich vor Ort auf die Warteliste für eine definierte Eintrittszeit setzen lassen.
Sowohl im Thermalbad- wie auch im Römisch-Irischen Spa-Bereich gibt es keine Nacktzonen.
Bistro
In unserem Bistro können Sie sich mit feinen Köstlichkeiten wie Salate, Sandwiches, Suppe, Flammkuchen und diversen Getränken etc. verpflegen. Die Konsumation wird auf Ihr Chiparmband geladen und Sie zahlen zum Schluss an der Kasse am Hauptempfang.
Badekleider, Badetücher etc.
Sie können gerne Badebekleidung, Bademantel und zusätzliche Badetücher gegen ein kleines Entgelt mieten.

In unserm Thermalbadshop können Sie einige der hochwertigen Produkte kaufen, die wir für die Treatments verwenden. Zudem finden Sie verschiedene Geschenkideen und Mitbringsel.
Verlust Chiparmband / Garderobenschlüssel
Bei Schlüssel-/Chipverlust wird eine Umtriebs Entschädigung von CHF 50.00 erhoben. Wird der verlorene Schlüssel oder Chip wieder gefunden, so statten wir die CHF 50.00 zurück.
